Dr. Jane Dimmitt Champion is a Professor Emeritus in the School of Nursing at the University of Texas at Austin. She has completed prestigious post-doctoral fellowships at the National Institutes of Health focusing on Minority Women's Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Association of Teachers of Preventive Medicine focusing on STI/HIV Research. Her primary research interests include STI/HIV, substance abuse, adolescent women's health, unintended pregnancy, and interpersonal violence.
