Jane Davies is a Professor of Paediatric Respirology and Experimental Medicine at Imperial College London, affiliated with the National Heart and Lung Institute. She graduated with an MB ChB from the University of Dundee Medical School in 1987 and completed her clinical training in Paediatrics in London. Her research primarily focuses on cystic fibrosis (CF) and host-pathogen interactions, particularly the pathogenesis of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in the lungs. Davies is also involved in clinical trial design and validation of outcome measures within the European CF Society Clinical Trials Network. Her research encompasses CF disease pathogenesis and non-invasive measurements of airway disease. Additionally, she supervises postgraduate students and collaborates closely with research teams within and outside the institution, delivering lectures at national and international meetings.
