Biography

Jane C. Edmond, M.D., is the founding chair of the Department of Ophthalmology and the director of the Mitchel & Shannon Wong Eye Institute at the Dell Medical School, University of Texas at Austin. With extensive training, she completed her undergraduate degree at Baylor College of Medicine, where she graduated with honors in 1981 and earned a medical degree in 1985.
