Biography

Jane Joy is a Lecturer at the University of Glasgow in the School of Medicine, Dentistry & Nursing, specializing in Nursing & Health Care. She began her career as a Staff Nurse and later served as a Junior Charge Nurse in Acute Medicine. In 1995, she transitioned to her current role at the University of Glasgow after working at Manchester Metropolitan University. As the Course Leader for the Bachelor of Nursing program, she has dedicated years to improving the educational delivery materials for students, with a keen interest in addressing the needs of older adults and enhancing their quality of life. Her research interests focus on Caring for Older Adults, Cognitive Impairment, and the development of relevant educational content for nursing students.
