Biography

Jane Kim, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Keck Medicine USC. She focuses on providing care for chronic conditions and preventive measures to enhance overall health and well-being. Through clear communication and active listening, she employs personalized medical strategies to provide holistic care that addresses both physical and emotional health for her patients and their families. Kim has a wide range of research interests, including the identification of mental health factors affecting teens and adults, and the development of early interventions to provide support. She is also interested in understanding how lifestyle choices, such as nutrition and physical activity, affect chronic conditions and general health. Dedicated to expanding access to healthcare, she studies the barriers faced by underserved communities and creates strategies to improve access to care and treatment therapies. Born and raised in Los Angeles to immigrant parents, Kim emphasizes respecting and acknowledging patients' unique backgrounds. She is committed to providing culturally sensitive care that aligns with patients' values and beliefs. As part of her commitment to serving underserved communities, she has participated in Keck School of Medicine of USC’s Street Medicine Team, offering compassionate care to those experiencing homelessness. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and discovering new specialty coffee shops. Fluent in Korean and conversational in Spanish, Kim appreciates the diverse tapestry that defines her vibrant city.
