Biography

Jane Mondul, Au.D., Ph.D., CCC-A, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Speech, Language, & Hearing Sciences at Purdue University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Neuroscience from St. Olaf College, an Au.D. with a specialty in pediatrics from Vanderbilt University, and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Vanderbilt University. Jane's research primarily focuses on the effects of noise exposure on the olivocochlear efferent system and hearing-in-noise abilities. Her research experience encompasses basic, translational, and clinical domains, utilizing both human and animal models to improve research implementation. Jane is passionate about integrating clinical perspectives with basic science to enhance audiology education.
