Biography

Jane Tynan is an Assistant Professor at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, with a background in cultural history and gender studies. She coordinates the MA Design Cultures program and teaches in the BA MKDA Design track. She also contributes to the new BSc Creative Technology program. Her work has been featured in various media outlets, and she serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Design History and as co-editor for the Palgrave Studies in Fashion and Body series.
