Biography

Janet DeLaine is an Associate Professor of Roman Archaeology at the University of Oxford, where she is also an Emeritus Fellow at Wolfson College. Her work has also involved significant collaboration with the Japanese Society for the Promotion of Science, where she held a Senior Research Fellowship.
