Janet Simon Schreck joined Johns Hopkins University in 2015 as the inaugural assistant vice provost for education. She currently serves as the university’s senior associate vice provost for academic affairs. In addition, she directs academic compliance, institutional learning assessment, and accreditation, acting as the accreditation liaison officer for the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) and serving as the institutional academic grievance officer.
