Biography

Janine Marie Traulsen is a part-time lecturer and external lecturer in the Section of Social & Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Copenhagen. Holding a Ph.D. in Sociology from Lund University, she has over 25 years of research experience with a focus on medical sociology, pharmaceutical policy, and medical technology assessment. Traulsen has participated in and led several multidisciplinary research teams across various countries, including Denmark, Sweden, and Iceland. Her teaching expertise spans across undergraduate, master's, and PhD levels, specifically in areas of pharmaceutical policy and medical sociology. She has supervised numerous PhD candidates and has served as an opponent for multiple dissertations. In addition to her teaching and research roles, she is actively involved in various academic committees and editorial boards. Traulsen has authored or co-authored four books and over 90 scientific articles, and she continues to contribute significantly to the fields of pharmacy and sociology through her innovative research and educational endeavors.
