Professor Dr. Janis Zickfeld

Biography

Janis Zickfeld is an Assistant Professor at Aarhus University, specializing in Experimental Social Psychology. He holds a PhD from the University of Oslo, where he studied the dynamics of emotions and their intersection with culture and positive psychology. Zickfeld's academic journey also includes an M.Phil in Health & Social Psychology from the University of Oslo and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Groningen. His research interests encompass the fields of psychology, particularly focusing on emotions and cultural interactions. Zickfeld has also enriching experience as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Mannheim, enhancing his collaborative research efforts in the area of Psychology. Over recent years, he has actively contributed to the academic community through various research outputs and collaborations, further emphasizing the importance of understanding emotional experiences within different cultural contexts.
