Dr. Jarrod Bogue

Biography

Jarrod T. Bogue, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery, specializing in Plastic Surgery at Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. As the assistant program director for the plastic surgery residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Dr. Bogue has significantly contributed to training the next generation of plastic surgeons. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Genetics and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree with distinction from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. His clinical expertise includes microsurgery, orthoplastic surgery, breast reconstruction, and trauma reconstruction. Dr. Bogue has been an active researcher in orthoplastic surgery, leading a research group that focuses on limb salvage and sarcoma reconstruction. He has presented his findings at various national conferences and has published his work in esteemed plastic surgery journals. His academic interests include enhancing patient outcomes and fostering the growth of future surgical leaders through mentorship and education. Dr. Bogue aims to integrate his clinical experience with research to advance the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery.
