Dr. Jasmine Gujral

Biography

Jasmine Gujral, MBBS, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Yale School of Medicine, specializing in pediatric endocrinology. She received her medical degree from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College in Mumbai, India, and completed her residency in Pediatrics at Saint Peter's University Hospital in New Jersey, followed by a fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. Her research focuses on characterizing growth hormone and immune interactions by utilizing multi-omic techniques, including mass spectrometry, proteomics, metabolomics, and transcriptomics. Gujral's interests also encompass growth disorders, adrenal disorders, and disorders of sexual development. She is passionate about providing care to patients, including children and young adults, with various endocrine disorders, and strives to form close relationships with her patients and their families. Her work includes leading a tele-mentoring program designed to empower pediatricians in community clinics to diagnose and treat complex endocrine disorders. Gujral's achievements include multiple awards related to her mentoring practices and research presentations.
