Generate a tailored SOP for Dr. Jasneet Kaur. Improve your application with a focused, well-structured draft.
Dr. Kaur’s current research focuses on the design, synthesis, and characterization of novel nanostructured materials and two-dimensional materials, along with polymer composites and their applications in clean energy technologies. Her lab is dedicated to developing surface engineered multifunctional materials, studying their structural, chemical, and electrochemical properties using advanced microscopic and spectroscopic techniques for creating components of energy storage and conversion devices, such as batteries, supercapacitors, and water electrolysers for green hydrogen production. Dr. Kaur is also interested in creating advanced materials for environmental remediation, water treatment, and antimicrobial coatings. She is looking for motivated graduate students for her Master's and PhD projects, and her research is funded by NSERC Canada.
