Biography

Professor Azoulay's research group unites strong synthetic foundations in physics, materials science, and engineering to synthesize and apply next-generation functional materials. His research efforts encompass homogeneous catalysis and applied polymer synthesis, electronic, photonic, magnetic, and quantum materials, as well as device fabrication engineering. The group also focuses on chemical sensing in complex aqueous environments for environmental monitoring and the synthesis, application, and engineering of high-performance polymers across multiple technology platforms. Professor Azoulay has directed large interdisciplinary center-level efforts in conjugated polymers, optoelectronics, and chemical sensing.
