Biography

Jason Cianciulli is a Psycho-Physical Theatre Artist with research grounded in floorwork, partnering, and physical theatre. As a teacher, performer, and bodyworker, Jason aims to create worlds and sculpt space to tell stories. He is an international performer who has worked in the United States, Canada, Panama, Germany, and Romania. He holds licenses in Massage Therapy in Michigan and Pennsylvania, specializing in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Craniosacral, and Myofascial Release techniques. Jason is a co-choreographer of VIM VIGOR and has held a BFA in dance from SUNY Purchase and an MFA in dance from the University of Michigan. After receiving his BFA, he returned to SUNY Purchase to teach as a lecturer. He has taught VIM's Physical Dance Theater Methodology at institutions globally and previously taught at the University of Iceland. Jason also served as the Performer Rehearsal Director for the iconic immersive show, Sleep NYC.
