Biography

Jason Lai is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, with a minor in Education, from Cornell University. He then attended Stony Brook University School of Medicine for his medical training. Dr. Lai completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics, followed by a two-year fellowship in Medical Education at the same institution. He has experience as a part-time faculty physician in the University Hospital emergency department and served as a flight physician for the UW Health Med Flight helicopter EMS program. His academic interests encompass medical student education, resident education, simulation, ultrasound, and patient safety.
