Biography

Jason Pinchot is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, specializing in Interventional Radiology. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2004, followed by an internship at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Indiana University School of Medicine, becoming board certified by the American Board of Radiology in 2009. Dr. Pinchot joined the UW-Madison faculty in 2010 after completing a vascular interventional radiology fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. His clinical research interests focus on minimally invasive oncologic interventions, including Y-90 radioembolization, transarterial chemoembolization, image-guided tumor ablation, uterine fibroid embolization, and biliary interventions. Outside of his research and clinical practice, he enjoys running, gourmet cooking, and international travel, and is a passionate sports fan, particularly of the Chicago Cubs, Bears, Bulls, and Blackhawks.
