Jason currently works on the History PGCE programme and MSc in Teaching and Learning course. He obtained a degree in Cultural Studies from the University of East London, followed by an MA in History Education from the Institute of Education. He completed his PGCE in Social Studies at Goldsmiths in 1992. Jason has worked in a variety of London schools, holding both middle management and senior management roles. In 1999, he was awarded AST status with a specialism in History Education Inclusion, which combined part-time teaching at Kingston University. Jason is dedicated to developing complex, multi-perspective history education that accounts for students' diverse backgrounds and provides access to the history curriculum, as well as developing innovative teaching approaches for World War studies.
