Dr. Jasvinder Bhatia

Biography

Jasvinder S. Bhatia, MD, is a Clinical Associate Professor at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine specializing in nephrology. He completed his MD at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and obtained a BS from Stevens Institute of Technology. Dr. Bhatia’s expertise encompasses continuous renal replacement therapies, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, nephrolithiasis, hypertension, and chronic kidney disease. He has served as Principal Investigator for various research studies and his contributions extend to improving home dialysis methods, highlighted in publications focusing on health equity in kidney disease. Dr. Bhatia is actively engaged in mentoring and has a keen interest in the grant funding landscape associated with biomedical research. He collaborates with multiple institutions, as evidenced by his involvement in projects at Boston Medical Center and the Boston VA.
