Biography

Jay Hodgson is an Associate Professor at the Don Wright Faculty of Music at Western University. He teaches songwriting and record production and has worked with Juno and Grammy award-winning artists, as well as gold and platinum-certified Top 40 songwriters and audio engineers. He is a thrice-Juno-nominated and Edison Award-winning mastering engineer. Additionally, Jay is a mad Pride advocate, publicly exploring the struggles and challenges faced by neurodivergent artists in a neurotypical world. His work includes gallery showings in major cities such as Manhattan, Paris, Milan, Madrid, and Kuala Lumpur. He currently serves as the Hear Chair at London’s Forest City Gallery, a prominent artist-run art space in Canada.
