Biography

Jay Shah, MD, serves as the Chief Medical Staff at Stanford Health Care and is an Associate Professor of Urology at Stanford University School of Medicine. His clinical focus is on bladder cancer and he is known for his expertise in robotic surgery. He completed a fellowship in Urologic Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he launched a bladder cancer robotics program and enhanced recovery program for patients. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, cooking, and exploring Northern California with his family and dogs.
