Biography

Dr. Jay Taylor is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Western University. He completed his undergraduate and graduate studies in pharmacology at Western and pursued his medical training at Windsor, which included distributed education sites. Since graduating from the Family Medicine residency program, he has worked in various clinical roles, including inpatient medicine and emergency medicine, and has practiced full-scope family medicine in a variety of communities including Chatham, St. Thomas, and Ingersoll. Dr. Taylor has remained active in clinical teaching and held various local and regional leadership roles related to the COVID-19 pandemic. He is currently pursuing further formal training in obesity medicine and healthcare leadership. Dr. Taylor lives in London with his wife, children, and a miniature schnauzer.
