Dr. Jaya Wen

Biography

Jaya Y. Wen is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Business School specializing in Business Administration with a focus on Development Economics, Political Economy, and Firm Behavior. She earned her Ph.D. in Economics from Yale University. Before joining Harvard, she was a postdoctoral fellow at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Her research primarily investigates the interplay between economic policies and their social implications, considering various case studies including U.S.–China trade relations and state strategies in autocratic regimes. Outside her academic work, she engages in a variety of hobbies including cooking, kayaking, writing fiction, and playing soccer.
