Biography

Jayadev Vijayan is a Royal Society University Research Fellow and Head of the Quantum Engineering Lab at the University of Manchester, where he is focused on using quantum physics and photonics engineering to develop foundational science and quantum technologies. Jayadev's work has garnered recognition including a Horizon 2020 Marie Sklodowska Curie Fellowship. Currently, he is engaged in investigating quantum systems and enhancing quantum sensor capabilities, with interests in leveraging materials engineering for optomechanics and collaborating on innovative research projects.
