Biography

Jean-François Lalonde, Ph.D., is a full professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering at Laval University and the assistant scientific director of the Institute of Intelligence and Data (IID). Before starting his teaching career in 2013, he was a post-doctoral researcher at Disney Research. He received his Ph.D. in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University in 2011.
