Biography

Jean-Philippe Rocheleau holds a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and a PhD in Epidemiology from the Université de Montréal. He commenced his career as a clinician in companion animal medicine and surgery, later becoming a professor and coordinator of the Animal Health department at the Cégep de Saint-Hyacinthe. His current research and teaching focus on applying One Health principles to various issues at the human-animal-environment interface. Rocheleau employs epidemiological methods, spatial analysis, and qualitative research to analyze data from diverse species to characterize and mitigate health risks. Since 2019, he has served as an associate professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
