Biography

Dr. Jean-Pierre Corriveau received his Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa in 1984. He initially worked at Nortel, where he developed an industrial code generator. After starting his Ph.D. at the University of Toronto in 1986, he returned to Nortel as a founding member of the TELOS project. He was instrumental in the creation of the ObjecTime tool, which eventually evolved into ROSE Real-Time, and is now known as IBM Rational Software Architect RealTime Edition. Dr. Corriveau completed his Ph.D. in Natural Language Processing in 1991 and subsequently joined the School of Computer Science at Carleton University. His current research interests include behavior-driven development and acceptance testing, with a specific focus on Object-Oriented Testing and Text Understanding.
