Biography

In addition to clinical practice, Jean-Pierre Pelage is involved in multiple clinical trials and pre-clinical evaluations of medical device technologies. He performs oncologic imaging, including chest, liver, pancreas, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and hematological malignancies, as well as cutaneous melanoma, cardiovascular, and women's imaging. Pelage has a busy practice in interventional radiology, with a special emphasis on treatments for cancer, women's interventions, and the management of hemostatic emergencies. His field research includes experience in clinical trials design and oversight of radiological assessment of tumor response. Additionally, he is skilled in project management, strategic planning, and medical device development and evaluation for regulatory approval (CE mark, FDA 510K, PMA). He also organizes education, continuing medical education (CME) courses, and training seminars mainly focused on the handling of medical devices for junior and senior physicians as well as industry partners.
