Biography

Fascinated by wildlife and the outdoors, Jean-Pierre Tremblay realized that he could turn his passion into a profession, leading him to become a biologist specialized in terrestrial fauna. He shares knowledge about the evolutionary mechanisms behind biodiversity, the structure of the tree of life, and the management and conservation of wildlife. As a first-generation university student, he is aware of his responsibility towards those who follow him. He is naturally engaged in research at the interface of animal ecology, forest ecology, and wildlife management and conservation. Surrounded by a rich network of students, research professionals, colleagues, and partners who share a commitment to developing knowledge about natural and anthropogenic ecosystems, species interactions, and population dynamics, he aims to understand, appreciate, and ultimately conserve these ecosystems for the benefit of current and future generations.
