Jeff Barda joined the University of Manchester in January 2020 as a Junior Research Fellow in French Studies at Murray Edwards College, Cambridge. He became a Senior Lecturer in French Cultural Studies in October 2020 and was awarded the Manchester Humanities Outstanding Teaching Award in 2020. His upcoming monograph, 'Data Poetics: Contemporary French Poetic Practice in the Age of Digital Overload,' is under contract with Liverpool University Press. Barda has also received the Literary Encyclopedia Book Prize in 2021 for his contributions to literary studies. He has taught at several prestigious institutions, including Charles University of Prague and King's College London.
