Biography

Jeff Camkin holds tertiary qualifications in natural resources law and has worked in water, irrigation, fisheries, and natural resources research, management, policy, and governance for over 20 years. He is currently a Professor in Water Resource Management at the University of Western Australia’s Centre of Excellence for Ecohydrology, as well as a visiting Professor at the Laboratório Nacional de Engenharia Civil in Lisbon, Portugal. Jeff has held several prominent positions, including Director of the Australian Water Association and various leadership roles at CSIRO. His teaching contributions include courses on water governance at institutions in Germany and Australia, reflecting his commitment to education in water resource management. He has received numerous awards for his research and contributions to the field.
