Biography

Jeff Edmonds received his PhD in 1992 from the University of Toronto, where his thesis focused on proving lower bounds for time-space tradeoffs. Following his doctoral studies, he completed postdoctoral work at the International Computer Science Institute (ICSI) in Berkeley, where he specialized in secure data transmission networks for multimedia applications. Edmonds joined the Lassonde School of Engineering at York University in 1995, where he has been contributing to academia and research ever since. His work encompasses various areas, including complexity theory, scheduling, proof systems, probability theory, and combinatorics. He is actively involved in advancing understanding and developing methodologies in these fields, through both teaching and research.
