Biography

T. Jeff Guh is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern California's School of Architecture, specializing in structural engineering. He has over 30 years of experience as a practicing structural engineer, holding licenses in the U.S. and internationally. Dr. Guh's professional expertise includes the design of various commercial, institutional, healthcare, and transportation facilities, with a focus on both new construction and structural retrofitting. His research interests lie in the seismic behavior of building structures and the development of innovative structural technologies for performance-based design. Since joining USC as a faculty member in 1995, he has taught both graduate and undergraduate courses including CE538 Prestressed Concrete Structures and ARCH313 Design Building Structures. He is active in professional organizations, including the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI).
