Biography

Jeff Landine is an Associate Professor at the University of New Brunswick specializing in Counselling Psychology. He completed his Doctor of Philosophy at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto in June 2008, following a Master’s in Education from the University of New Brunswick in 1994. His academic background also includes a Bachelor of Education from Saint Thomas University and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of New Brunswick. Dr. Landine's research interests focus on the development of employability skills, cognitive variables affecting career decision-making processes among youth and young adults, and the unique career development needs of students with disabilities. He has a strong commitment to ethical practices in counselling and has supervised numerous theses and dissertations in his area of expertise, particularly in career development and cognitive psychology. He employs quantitative research methods in his studies and is actively involved in the academic community as a Licensed Psychologist and Canadian Certified Counsellor. His past leadership roles include serving as Past President of both the College of Psychologists of New Brunswick and the Counsellor Educator’s Chapter of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. He is also a member of the UNB Research Ethics Board.
