Professor Jeff Magee currently holds a part-time role as Presidents' Envoy, working on further aims and objectives at Imperial College London. Magee has worked on software architecture that has been commercially utilized in Philips consumer television products and has collaborated with various industries, including BP, BT, NATS, Fujitsu, Barclays Capital, QinetiQ, and Kodak. He has authored over 100 refereed publications and co-authored a book on concurrent programming, 'Concurrency - State Models for Java Programs', second edition, which sold 15,000 copies. Additionally, he has been a co-editor of the 'Institute of Electrical Engineering’s Proceedings on Software Engineering' in 2007 and served as Associate Editor for 'Transactions on Software Engineering Methodology'. Magee was also a co-recipient of the 2005 ACM Special Interest Group on Software Engineering Outstanding Research Award for his work in Distributed Software Engineering.
