Biography

Jeffrey R. Brook is an Associate Professor at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto. His research focuses on environmental health, particularly exposure assessment, urban air quality, and health effects. He has an extensive background in air pollution meteorology, having earned his Ph.D. and M.Sc. from the University of Michigan. Before joining the faculty, Dr. Brook served as a Senior Research Scientist at Environment Climate Change Canada and has been actively involved in several national research initiatives, including the Canadian Urban Environmental Health Research Consortium (CANUE). His work also includes leadership roles in research committees and consultative roles for health-related studies in Canada.
