Biography

Jeffrey Fields is a professor of practice in international relations and the director of USC’s Dornsife Washington, DC Program. His research and teaching focus on American foreign policy, diplomacy, and international security, particularly concerning the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. Prior to joining USC, Fields served as a Presidential Management Fellow (PMF) and held positions as a senior adviser and political-military analyst at the U.S. Department of Defense, as well as a foreign affairs officer with the U.S. State Department, where he helped advise on various international matters.
