Dr. Jeffrey Miller

Biography

Jeffrey Miller is an Emeritus Professor at Boston University, specializing in Neurology within the Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. He earned his PhD from the University of California, Berkeley, and his BS from Washington State University. His research focuses on identifying pathogenetic mechanisms and developing new therapeutic strategies for neuromuscular diseases. An influential figure in the field, he has received numerous grants and has served as principal investigator on several significant projects aimed at understanding various forms of muscular dystrophies, including facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy and congenital muscular dystrophy.
