Dr. Jeffrey Pollak

Biography

Dr. Pollak graduated from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center followed by a fellowship in Vascular & Interventional Radiology at the University of Pennsylvania. He joined the Yale University School of Medicine in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging, where he has served as section chief and director of the fellowship program for decades. Dr. Pollak specializes in vascular and interventional radiology, with major interests in embolotherapy for acquired and congenital vascular abnormalities and malignancies. He is also an expert in minimally invasive tumor treatments and vascular procedures, particularly in the liver. He leads the Yale Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia Program and has extensive experience evaluating and managing this genetic disorder. Furthermore, he is co-director of the Yale Pulmonary Embolism Response Team, focusing on the advanced management of severe pulmonary embolism cases.
