Biography

Jeffrey D. Shahidullah is an Associate Professor at Dell Medical School with a focus on behavioral interventions for managing attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and disruptive behavior disorders. He is an affiliate of the Center for Health Interprofessional Practice and Education and co-director of research in developmental behavioral pediatrics at Dell Children’s Medical Group. Shahidullah earned his Ph.D. in School Psychology from Michigan State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Baylor University. He completed an internship in pediatric psychology at Children's Hospital Philadelphia and a fellowship at Geisinger Health System. As a health services researcher, his main areas of focus include primary care access and utilization, workforce trends, and integrating behavioral health services in schools and primary care settings. He has extensive publications in peer-reviewed journals across various disciplines including pediatrics and clinical pediatric psychology, and has authored and edited four books on topics such as school mental health and autism care. Additionally, he directs the Texas Childhood Trauma Research Network, a longitudinal study on childhood trauma responses.
