Biography

Jeffrey Siirola is a retired technology fellow at Eastman Chemical Company, where he made significant contributions during his 39-year tenure. He is currently an adjunct faculty member at Carnegie Mellon University’s Department of Chemical Engineering, where he actively participates in guest lectures and educational initiatives in process systems design. Siirola earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah in 1967 and his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1970.
