Dr. Jeffrey Siracuse

Biography

Jeffrey Siracuse, MD, MBA, is a Professor at Boston University's Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine, specializing in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Chicago, obtained his medical degree from New York Medical College, and earned an MBA from Boston University's Questrom School of Business. Siracuse has extensive training, including a residency in General Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School and fellowships in vascular surgery at top institutions. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery in both Surgery and Vascular Surgery. With over 300 publications to his name, his clinical research focuses on minimally invasive and open treatment of aortic aneurysms, critical limb ischemia, cerebrovascular disease, dialysis access procedures, and vascular trauma. Siracuse actively leads research efforts at Boston Medical Center, managing multiple grants and projects aimed at advancing treatment methodologies and improving patient outcomes. His professional roles also include Chief of the Division of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery and Associate Chair for Surgery Quality and Patient Safety at Boston Medical Center.
