Jeff has a background in Computer Science, graduating from the University of Lowell in 1987. He has worked in various fields, including graphics, imaging, and telemedicine, starting at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory on the R/V Maurice Ewing in 1997. He spent four years managing servers for data logging on the ship before working at the International Research Institute for Climate and Society.
