Dr. Jeffrey Vinocur

Biography

Dr. Jeffrey Vinocur is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Yale School of Medicine, specializing in pediatric adult congenital cardiology and electrophysiology. He joined Yale in 2021 after eight years at the University of Rochester, where he directed the pediatric electrophysiology program. Dr. Vinocur has developed expertise in zero-radiation techniques and is particularly focused on congenital heart disease (CHD) and adult congenital heart disease (ACHD). His wide-ranging clinical interests encompass managing heart rhythm problems in a diverse patient population including fetuses, children, adolescents, and adults. He emphasizes a patient and family-centered management approach with individualized treatment plans. Dr. Vinocur’s academic interests include hereditary arrhythmia syndromes, quality improvement, and outcomes research utilizing multicenter registries. His educational background includes an MD from the University of Pennsylvania, followed by several fellowships. He is actively involved in several professional organizations and has received multiple awards for his contributions to the field of pediatric electrophysiology.
