Biography

Professor Jehoshua (Shuki) Bruck is the Gordon Betty Moore Professor of Computation and Neural Systems and Electrical Engineering, Emeritus at the California Institute of Technology. He earned his B.Sc. from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in 1982, followed by an M.Sc. in 1985, and a Ph.D. from Stanford University in 1989. He served as an Associate Professor at Caltech from 1994 to 1998 before becoming a full Professor, a role he held from 1998 until 2001. In 2001, he was appointed as the Moore Professor and will transition to Professor Emeritus in 2025. Bruck also held the position of Director of Information Science Technology from 2003 to 2005.
