Biography

Jelena Mijanovic is an assistant professor in sustainable urban development at the School of Architecture, Royal Institute of Technology, KTH. She is actively involved in the Division of Architecture Urban Design Unit. In addition to her academic role, Mijanovic works with Ramboll Sweden as an expert in circular building and is the project manager responsible for a 20 million SEK innovation project financed by Vinnova, Sweden's innovation agency, focusing on enabling large-scale reuse of the existing building stock. She represents the Sveriges Arkitekters Academy of Architecture, where she monitors and discusses the development of architecture in Sweden, supporting professional development in the field.
