Biography

Professor Jemila Seid Hamid holds a PhD and MSc in mathematical statistics, as well as an undergraduate training in Statistics & Computer Science with a double major. With over ten years of experience as a biostatistician, she currently serves as a full professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Ottawa. Her applied work encompasses a wide range of clinical applications that require various statistical methods and computational algorithms.
