Dr. Jenae Richardson

Biography

Jenae Aesha Richardson is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford University in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She is a California licensed clinical psychologist and works in acute psychiatric inpatient units at Stanford Hospital. Dr. Richardson specializes in utilizing evidence-based therapies to treat individuals with psychosis, focusing on both inpatient and outpatient settings. She is passionate about improving the dissemination and implementation of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Psychosis (CBTp) and leads CBTp training sessions for mental health professionals. Dr. Richardson completed her pre-doctoral internship at the University of Arizona’s Early Psychosis Intervention Center and then pursued a postdoctoral fellowship at the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System. She obtained her PhD in clinical psychology from Long Island University, where her research explored barriers to the implementation of CBTp in the United States.
