Biography

Dr. Jenn Salfi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Nursing at Brock University, with a background in nursing education and interprofessional education. She has been an integral part of the university since September 2013, previously working as an Assistant Professor at McMaster University. Dr. Salfi specializes in the design, implementation, and evaluation of various nursing interprofessional education initiatives. She is a core faculty member of the Master of Applied Gerontology (MAG) program. Dr. Salfi has garnered several awards recognizing her teaching excellence and contributions to nursing education, including the Chancellor’s Chair for Teaching Excellence Award in 2018 and the Award for Excellence in Nursing Education from the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing in 2012. She is also actively involved with professional organizations such as the College of Nurses of Ontario and the Canadian Nurses Association, and has contributed to undergraduate and graduate courses focusing on collaboration, teamwork, and gerontology.
